The Harvest Fashion Show in East Rift Valley

“2019 Rice-fields Runway Show, at Fuli”

The 2nd annual “Rice-fields Runway Show” will take place on 19th October,  organized and sponsored by the East Rift Valley National Scenic Area of the Tourism Bureau.

The highlight of the event program is scheduled for Saturday, 19th October 2019, from 15:00-21:00. This is the 2nd annual “Rice-fields Carpet Runway Show,” presented by designer Sabra Andre and models from Eelin Catwalk. It will be held at the old Dongli Cycling Station, a popular spot during harvest season, surrounded by golden rice fields near the old Dongli Railway Station. This picturesque landmark is also a halfway point along cycling routes in the East Rift Valley.

This year’s program includes performances by the Aboriginal Rap Group BOXING, popular singer Luji, drum music from Chengbin High School, and the Puyuma Aboriginal Tribal Music Group. In addition, there will be open markets featuring award-winning aboriginal cuisine from 6 local tribal villages. You are guaranteed to enjoy the finest feasts, the glory of fashion shows, and energetic music, making this a delightful and unforgettable experience.
