“2019 Yufu Runway -The Harvest Fashion Show”

Creative designs shining through the runway fashion show specifically in East Rift Valley

The 2^nd of annual “Rice-fields’ Good Earth Runway Show” has been taken place on Saturday the 19^th of October 2019, at old Dongli Cycling Station. The event program is organized and sponsored by the East Rift Valley National Scenic Areas of the Tourism Bureau, which liaise with the Eelin Catwalk.

The background of runway, where is amazingly eye catching of the harvest seasons’ golden rice- fields! And, the created designs mostly are inspiration from local environments by participated designers. The surrounding picturesque old Dongli Railway Station was decorated by the dynamic artist, Yiyou Gerzao, who’s display artworks, as “Dew” and Paiwan artist, Shanhua Shieh, who used tribal gourmets’ food preparations as display arts!

Event program this year, have consisted of the Aboriginal Rap Group, BOXING, and the popular singer Luji．Huangli, the Drum music from Chengbin High School & Puyuma Aboriginal Tribal Music Group.  The highlight of fashion show, emphasized the sustainability in the local community that are heavenly glorious with agricultures, culture & biodiversity living environments for the concepts and elements of design.  In addition, there were open markets from award winning aboriginal cuisines representing from six Aboriginal Tribal Villages on the subject of “Aboriginal Feast on Tribal Travelling”, from selected tribes in East Rift Valley areas.

The evening program that enchanted by bright and colorful lighting shows in the golden rice-field and participated by some individual groups for their own creative thoughts put into fashion for catwalk. The event that made the rural village, Dongli, flash out with creativities and colors with joyful of all visitors gaining unforgettable and enjoyed different experiences.
