Jiaming Lake is an important wildlife habitat in Guanshan. It is also known as Angel's Tear because of its crystal-clear water and its peaceful mountain surroundings. Mountain hikers love to explore Jiaming Lake for its ecological diversity and breath-takingly beautiful views. Since January 5, 2016, Jiaming Lake had been closed for three months to allow it some rest. It was recently reopened on April 1, according to the Administration, and hiking and overnight stays around the lake are now possible with prior application.
